Located in northeastern Sonoma County, California, Alexander Valley is an American Viticultural Area (AVA) situated north of Healdsburg. The region is known for producing wines with a rich, fleshy mouthfeel and voluptuousness due to its warm climate. While it is capable of growing a wide range of varieties, it is particularly noted for the quality of its Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, as well as Chardonnay characterized by rich, tropical fruits.
