Barbaresco
Located in the Langhe area of Piedmont, Barbaresco is a prestigious wine region producing Nebbiolo-based wines. The region is divided into three principal towns—Barbaresco, Neive, and Treiso—which offer a more consistent profile across the zone than the larger Barolo region. While extremely tannic and tight in their youth, these wines are known for bouquets of roses or violets and flavors of cherry, truffles, fennel, and liquorice.
