Anderson Valley

Located in western Mendocino County in Northern California, Anderson Valley is a sparsely populated rural region. A wine boom in the 1980s led to the establishment of the Anderson Valley AVA, which specializes in Pinot Noir, sparkling wine, and Alsatian varietals. Major producers in the area include Roederer Estate and Lazy Creek Vineyards.
